Who is Stephen Joyce?
My name is Stephen A. Joyce and I’ve been working as a travel & tourism technology consultant since 1995. In 2005 my company, Sentias Software Corp., began development on Rezgo.com, a next generation Web 2.0 tour and activity booking engine for small and medium sized tour operators. In June of 2007, Rezgo.com was officially released and now boasts a user base of 500+ companies.
I am very active in fostering tourism technology and I am the founding President of the North American Chapter of the International Federation for IT and Travel & Tourism (IFITT North America). I am also the founder and publisher of the Tips from the T-List. I speak Internationally on the impacts of Social Media and User Generated Content on the travel & tourism industry. In addition to my tourism initiatives, I am the Vice-Chair of the Board of Directors of the North Vancouver Chamber of Commerce and was formerly on the Board of the Pacific Club and the COHO Society of the North Shore. In my free time (if you can call it that), I teach leadership, citizenship and aviation to air cadets at the 525 Squadron in West Vancouver.
I am married and I have two beautiful daughters who keep all the other hours and minutes of my day jam packed with love, fun, hugs, and giggles.
