What it means to be Sentias

Over the course of the last few months I’ve been thinking a lot about what makes up Sentias’ corporate culture. At the office, June and I often discuss how well staff are fitting into the culture or making marketing or sales decisions based on whether or not the sales or marketing initiative fits with our culture. That got me thinking… what is our corporate culture? Here is my interpretation of what it means to be Sentias:

  1. We enjoy what we do. We work together because we want to and because we enjoy ourselves while we work.
  2. We respect each other. Everyone at Sentias is unique and each of us respects those unique qualities inherent in each of us.
  3. We ask questions. None us claims to know everything about anything, heck that’s why “The Google” is there.
  4. We like challenges. Everyday is a challenge. Without challenge there is no growth.
  5. We have perseverance. We know that businesses don’t become hugely successful overnight or with little work. We are all committed to the same goal.
  6. We live truthfully. We are truthful and honest in all our dealings. Sometimes this isn’t always easy, but we try our best.
  7. We are open. Everyone knows where we have been, where we are now, and where we are going. It’s no secret that we’ve experienced failures and we’re proud of the accomplishments we have made and lessons we have learned. Each and every member of the Sentias team is free to speak their mind.
